The Truth To Tamanu Treatment!
Science Science Science
I want to always know a product is going to DO WHAT IT SAYS, I’m not into wasting money, I don’t want to buy a product with faith and find that it doesn’t do what it has told me it would. So I always like to research the ingredients and find the Science behind the product to WHY it will do what the brand is telling me and KNOW it will do what I need it to before buying it. Seems fair right?
So you’re the lucky ones as I’ve done the research for you! Now I know it seems lengthy but stick with it because you’ll be amazed by the amazing properties this ingredient has and which products it is in.
Tamanu Oil comes from the Tamanu Oil Nut Tree and has been being used for 100’s of years in Polynesia as a ‘healing’ oil. It has so many properties that different areas of our skin need being rich in fatty acids it ensures the oil is locked in our skin. It also holds a form of Vitamin E which is super moisturising for our skin and helps to produce Collagen and Glycosaminxglycan which are all key components to healing of scarring tissue. It has antibacterial properties which helps to kill bacteria on the skin which is great for those with problematic and blemished skin. How amazing is this ingredient?!
Research in 2009 shows that Tamanu oil was able to absorb over 85% of UV Light & DNA Damage so this ingredient is amazing if you have any sun damaged skin.
The benefits Tamanu oil:
It helps to heal Acne Scarring, stings, bites, cuts etc.
It helps the healing of athletes Foot

Due to its super healing properties the oil has been known to alleviate pain in cold sores and bodily pains such as Shingles and Sciatica.
I don’t know about you but when I am sick with a cold or flu like symptoms my skin breaks out, it goes dry, it goes sore (especially if you are spending 100 times a day with tissues under the nose) it flares up in every way because the immune system of our skin is low because our body sends all it's best fighters to heal the virus/bacteria etc so it takes away from the areas that are fine at the point of contracting the illness. Yes our skin has an immune system too! It’s just not something we think about. Using the Tamanu oil during these times is perfect because it combats so many different areas that could be problematic to us during this time.
